Job Title: Sr. Network & Software Solutions Architect
Duration: 7-8 months (Contract) W2
Location: Salem, OR (Remote)
Note: THIS IS PART TIME 10-20 HOURS / ON CALL FOR 1040 HOURS
Job Description:
Responsible for analyzing and designing solutions to networking issues, providing technical support to other departments, as well as troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving issues with both hardware and software.
The selected candidate will support client's Transportation Data Section with high-level technical expertise, focusing on software architecture, application design, data management, and technical troubleshooting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement logical software and database structures.
- Engage with stakeholders to collect and clarify business and data requirements.
- Lead design and enhancement efforts for the Crash application.
- Analyze and integrate emerging technologies into the existing system landscape.
- Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve system issues.
- Estimate task durations, report progress, and manage concurrent priorities.
- Develop and maintain code for web-based and client/server systems using SQL and related technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in relevant technical roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of Crash Data Management solutions.
- Proficiency in: Web technologies, Client/server architectures, SQL
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with the Information System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Capable of requirements gathering, management, and performing code analysis.
