Job Overview:
A critical part of this effort is the effective use of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that enables residents to report issues and request services efficiently. The client recently implemented a new CRM solution using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Solutions Architect to support the platform's design, implementation, integration, and ongoing optimization.
The Solutions Architect will be a key technical leader responsible for ensuring the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform aligns with the City’s business needs, integrates with other systems, and evolves to support improved service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
Design scalable, robust end-to-end Dynamics 365 solutions that align with enterprise architecture.
Create architectural artifacts including diagrams, data models, and integration blueprints.
Develop and maintain documentation for architecture and design decisions.
Implementation & Customization
Lead the configuration and customization of Dynamics 365 applications (Customer Service, Sales, etc.).
Develop custom plugins, workflows, Power Automate flows, and client-side scripts.
Ensure the seamless integration of Dynamics 365 with enterprise systems, including ERP, GIS, and 311 systems.
Oversee data migration planning and execution using supported tools and techniques.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Partner with project managers to define project plans, milestones, and resource needs.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), end-user training, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
Provide clear, concise technical updates and presentations to stakeholders.
Technical Leadership
Mentor developers and junior technical staff on best practices and architectural standards.
Stay current on Dynamics 365 releases and Microsoft Power Platform innovations.
Champion development governance, security, performance, and compliance standards.
Client Engagement & Communication
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Facilitate workshops and demos to showcase platform capabilities and gather feedback.
Build strong relationships with city departments to understand evolving needs.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution design and implementation.
Proven leadership in delivering complex CRM solutions in large-scale environments.
Experience working with public sector or municipal organizations is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Engagement) modules.
Strong proficiency in:
Dynamics 365 customization and configuration
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate)
Azure Integration Services
.NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL
Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with data migration tools (KingswaySoft, Scribe, etc.) is a plus.

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate
Work Environment:
Hybrid work schedule (minimum 2 days onsite in Atlanta may be required)
Occasional off-hours work for deployments or urgent support
