We are seeking an experienced Sr. Network Engineer with deep expertise in Data Center architecture, routing and switching protocols, and Juniper technologies. This role will focus on the design, implementation, and migration of large-scale, high-performance networks, including data center interconnect (DCI), EVPN, and leaf-spine architecture. Experience with tools like Juniper Apstra and knowledge of multi-vendor migrations is essential.
Design and deploy scalable Data Center architectures using Leaf-Spine topology with emphasis on low latency and high throughput.
Develop strategies and implement DC redundancy for high availability and disaster recovery.
Architect and manage DCI (Data Center Interconnect) solutions using Juniper technologies to ensure seamless connectivity across geographies.
Configure and manage EVPN-based architectures including route distinguishers and route targets.
Design and manage MAC VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) instances for tenant separation in multi-tenant environments.
Lead and execute switch migrations from Arista/Aruba to Juniper, ensuring minimal downtime and proper configuration replication.
Plan, design, and implement new Data Center setups including power, rack layout, network cabling, and logical topology.
Develop and implement a Data Center decommissioning strategy, ensuring smooth transition and minimal impact on production workloads.
Use Juniper Apstra for intent-based networking and network lifecycle automation.
Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements, build design documents, and drive network implementations.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure performance, scalability, and security.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to network best practices and documentation.
Proven experience in design and implementation of routing and switching in data center environments.
Strong expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and their use in EVPN environments.
Deep understanding of EVPN-VXLAN technologies and associated components (RDs, RTs, MAC-VRFs).
Experience in Data Center migration planning and execution (tools, timelines, cutover strategies).
Hands-on experience with Juniper switches and routers; certifications like JNCIP-DC or JNCIE preferred.
Experience with Juniper Apstra or similar intent-based networking platforms.
Solid understanding of Data Center technologies including spine-leaf, VxLAN, MLAG, and fabric architectures.
Working knowledge of DC redundancy strategies including active-active and active-standby designs.
Ability to create and interpret network design documents, topology diagrams, and migration plans.
Experience working in multi-vendor environments and leading switch migrations.
Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE)
Experience with cloud-connected data centers and hybrid environments
