Sr. Network Security Engineer (Juniper)
Location: Detroit, MI.
Contract role.
W2 only.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in network security engineering.
Hands-on experience with Juniper firewalls, routers, and switches.
Strong knowledge of JunOS, VPNs, and security policies.
Familiarity with IDS/IPS, NAT, and load balancing.
Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Experience with network monitoring and logging tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network security issues.
Juniper certification (e.g., JNCIS, JNCIP) is a plus.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Configure, manage, and monitor Juniper security devices.
Design and implement secure network architectures.
Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
Respond to and investigate security incidents.
Maintain and update firewall rules and access control lists.
Work with IT teams to ensure network integrity and security.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network security issues.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and threats.
